In compliance with the Student-Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-542), it is the policy of the South Orange County Community College District to make available the completion and transfer rates to all current and prospective students of Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College. Information about Student Right-to-Know rates and how they should be interpreted can be found at the California Community Colleges’ Student-Right-to-Know Information Clearinghouse web site.
The Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act also requires colleges and universities to prepare a report concerning campus crime statistics and security policies as well as information about campus programs and activities intended to promote crime awareness, campus safety and security. Below are links to reports which include statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off campus buildings or property owned or controlled by either Saddleback College and/or Irvine Valley College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campuses. The reports also include institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. Copies of Saddleback and Irvine Valley Colleges’ annual security reports are available by contacting Campus Police at both Colleges, or by accessing the following reports.
