DENTAL INSURANCE

Employees and their dependents receive comprehensive coverage through Delta Dental PPO (Preferred Provider Organization).  Our dental insurance allows for regular checkups, cleanings and other preventive treatments you need to keep your mouth healthy.

When visiting a PPO dentist, you typically pay a percentage of the reduced rate for services and the plan pays the rest.  Although the levels coinsurance percentages are the same no matter what dentist you choose, out-of-pocket expenses may differ depending upon whether you select a Delta Dental PPO dentist. 

The Delta Dental website features a directory of providers by geographic location and specialty, as well as oral health and wellness information.  You can create an account and access your identification card, view eligibility and benefits and find average fees charged by dentists.  During the registration process you have the option of having your claims suspended from regular mail and just available online.

You and your family members are covered for two cleanings per year and one deep cleaning every two years.  The chart provides an overview of deductible, coinsurance percentage and annual maximum amount of coverage.
