Computing Services User Accounts
District Information Technology
establishes user accounts to access various college and district administrative
computer services. Users may start the process of requesting an account
by clicking on the form image below in Netscape Communicator.
User accounts are set up according to the responsibilities and duties
the users perform, as authorized by the unit manager responsible for
the information and operations.
- Open the form when prompted to launch Microsoft
Word.
- Complete the form by using the TAB key to move
through the form. The status bar in WORD will give you instructions.
- PRINT the form when you have finished.
- Submit the printed or typewritten form to the manager responsible
for the access you are requesting, and obtain authorized signature.
- Forward the signed form to your local College Technology Organization,
or District Information Technology AS INDICATED ON THE FORM.
When you are filling out the form in Microsoft Word, limited
help instructions appear in the status bar at the bottom of the page.
You can press F1 when indicated to show the functions granted for a
particular access level.
PLEASE NOTE: The form is best completed in Word or typewritten
and requires original authorizing signatures. Forms that are received
incomplete, illegible or without appropriate and identifiable signatures
will be returned to the employee via interoffice mail. This may delay
processing of your request.

And Finally, a Word About Passwords...
When you receive your account, it will be initialized with a temporary
password. If you're account is for the District central ALPHA computer,
you will be required to change your password upon logging in to your
account the fisrt time, and every 60 days thereafter. We cannot exempt
you from this policy.
