Managing your
E-Mail Account
E-mail accounts may be managed
by the user through a convenient WEB browser interface. To access your
account information, use the Webmail feature in the MySite
portal page.
Log in to Webmail using your
user ID and Password, then select OPTIONS from the menu bar.
The information you can manage
appears on the right. It is recommended you make changes ONLY to the
following areas:
- Personal Information, including many items that are not supplied
by default by the district (use caution).
- Your password.
- Settings, which include specification of a mail forwarding address
(hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.) to which you would like a COPY of your
college email sent.
- NOTE: when specifying an altenate address, use the ARROW
keys within the window to enter one address per line, and click
SAVE when finished. DO NOT use the enter key to go to the
next line.
- Change the appearance (in Webmail only) to colors and the number
of messages to be displayed per page.
- Vacation message: to be sent as a reply to incomming messages. (Don't
forget to deactivate this when you come back.)
When you are done, be sure to SAVE your changes for them to take effect.
